As a third culture kid, I have always felt adrift, never fully able to claim a single place as my own. Yet, when I gaze upon this temple, memories flood back to me, evoking the sights, sounds, and scents of the streets of Hung Hom that have long since faded away. With each brushstroke, I seek to capture the essence of that lost world, to reclaim the beauty and nostalgia of a time and place that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
